About the Authors
Silviya Barrett
Silviya was Research Manager at Centre for London between August 2016 and February 2020. She headed up the Transport and Environment research programme and worked on the 2017 Commission on the Future of London’s Roads and Streets, as well as other reports on how we can achieve fair, affordable and sustainable transport. Prior to Centre for London, Silviya worked at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she managed the research and survey programme. She has since moved to the Campaign for Better Transport as Head of Policy, Research and Projects.
Joe Wills
Joe is a Senior Researcher at Centre for London. Joe’s background is in London local government, covering a range of areas related to housing, regeneration and local economic development. At Centre for London, he has co-authored reports on local governance and transport policy. Joe holds an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics.
Mario Washington-Ihieme
Mario is a Researcher at Centre for London. Her research interests include young people and employment, social mobility and cultural policy. Mario is also a Young Trustee for London Youth. Prior to joining the Centre in 2018, Mario was a Research and Policy Intern at Partnership for Young London and a Research Assistant at the London School of Economics in the Department of Management.
