Rob is Research Director at Centre for London, where he oversees the Centre’s research and policy work.
Rob joined in September 2024 from the Centre for Homelessness Impact where as Director of Knowledge Implementation he worked to transform the use of evidence and data in local and national government to end homelessness faster across the UK. Rob previously worked in central government , most recently at HM Treasury. Prior to working in government, Rob worked for charities tackling social injustice across London. Rob holds an MSc in Inequalities and Social Science from LSE, specialising in housing and social disadvantage in the UK, and a BA Hons from the University of Oxford.
Having grown up in Tooting, South London, and lived in the city his whole life, London just means “home” for Rob. Rob is particularly passionate about solving the city’s housing crisis and improving living standards for all Londoners.
