Location of bars, pubs and clubs
This map shows the locations of current bars, pubs and clubs across inner parts of the capital.
Recent research has demonstrated a shift of London’s “clubbing epicentre” eastward, away from the West End, to cheaper areas in Shoreditch and beyond.
Alongside the high concentration in central areas, the map also highlights the agglomeration of pubs and bars in town centres, reflecting drinking habits during evenings and weekends. The introduction and expansion of the Night Tube network at weekends is likely to have had a beneficial impact, particularly for central London.
