Jon is a Senior Researcher at Centre for London. He joined in 2021 and works on research projects.
Before joining the Centre, he studied for a Masters in Political Thought, researching the politics of community in 1990s Britain. As an undergraduate, he studied History and Politics and interned for a homelessness research institute and a local branch of Citizens Advice, alongside getting involved in a variety of campaigns.
He is interested in issues surrounding social housing and homelessness, architecture, and environmental protection. In his spare time, he likes travel, bouldering, and reading.
What do you love about London?
I love its history, particularly how it’s been shaped by immigrants from all over the world.
What would you change about London if you could?
I would try and build an urban economy less dependent on high land and property prices with more public resources and space.
