Victoria Pinoncely

Victoria Pinoncely is Research Manager at Centre for London. She joined Centre for London in 2017 from the Royal Town Planning Institute, where her research focused on the role of places in contributing positively to social issues such as public health, ageing and poverty. Previously, she was Consultant in Infrastructure, Economics and Planning at AECOM, and worked as a researcher for LSE Cities. Victoria holds an MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics, a Master’s degree in Politics, Economics and Sociology from Sciences Po Lille, and a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent.

Mario Washington-Ihieme

Mario is Research Assistant at Centre for London. Prior to joining the Centre, Mario was a Research and Policy Intern at Partnership for Young London and Research Assistant at the London School of Economics in the Department of Management. Mario has completed a BSc in Psychology with Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham, and an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology at the London School of Economics. Mario’s MSc research focused on the porosity of borders in urban cities, with a socio-psychological approach to understanding how inner London neighbourhoods impact both the community and the individual resilience of young people.
