Delegates and experts from across sectors will join moderated, thematic sessions.

Decarbonising school buildings, facilitated by Arup

  • Schools are at the heart of our communities. We need to decarbonise our school buildings whilst also working to improve resilience to the impacts of climate change – all whilst delivering positive educational outcomes for our young people.
  • In this workshop delegates will consider interventions for some anonymised London Schools and will brainstorm ideas for delivering these at scale across the capital.

Delivering large-scale retrofit through innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based leadership, facilitated by Hadley Property Group

  • In this workshop, delegates will explore leadership, viability, and delivery in large-scale retrofit.
  • Looking into leadership across the value chain, the environmental, cultural, and financial trade-offs between retrofit and rebuild, and carbon and circular economy strategies, we will also consider emerging market and policy shifts supporting retrofit as a mainstream development route.

Unlocking EPC band C for Hard-to-Treat Homes – delivering retrofit at scale, facilitated by L&Q

  • L&Q will be joined by key delivery partners (Morgan Sindall and GDS) to discuss the opportunities and challenges navigating the complexity of the UK’s built environment to retrofit our hardest to treat homes.
  • We will explore the challenges retrofitting a wide range of housing types through conventional improvements, discuss interpretation of standards, what to expect from the third phase of The Warm Homes Social Housing Fund and learn how collaboration with industry experts is shaping retrofit strategies and delivery.

The Power of Youth in the Green Transition, facilitated by Mayor’s Fund for London

  • In this youth-led session discover how young Londoners can power the city’s green transition.
  • Delegates will explore how green skills and education can unlock a fairer, sustainable future. As London races to net zero, how do we ensure young people lead the way?
