The London Conference
The London Conference is an event for senior business, third-sector and local government leaders.
Each year the conference programme is developed to address the most pressing issues facing London through keynote speeches, panel discussions, interviews and presentations.
In previous years we’ve explored London in the pandemic, what Londoners want from their Mayor, how London can become an inclusive, working capital and London’s place in the world after the EU referendum.
Exciting and influential speakers
The conference has a reputation for attracting influential speakers and high-level attendees.
Previous speakers have included
- The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Minister for London Paul Scully MP
- Former Mayors of London Boris Johnson and Ken Livingstone
- Deputy Mayor of New York Alicia Glen
- Lord Peter Mandelson
- Former UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband
- Baroness Martha Lane-Fox
- Newsnight Lead Presenter Emily Maitlis.
Sponsorship opportunities
The London Conference is supported by a coalition of business, public and third sector partners. We work hard to bring funders from different backgrounds together.
In recent years, partners have included the City of London Corporation, L&Q, the London Borough of Camden, London Councils, JLL, J.P. Morgan, Trust for London and Uber.

Highlights from The London Conference 2025
The London Conference 2025 convened the brightest minds from government, the private sector, and civil society to ask how London can reach its 2030 net zero target while maximising inclusive economic benefit for the city.
Across three themes – Ecosystem, Infrastructure and Adaptation – we explored:
- How to reduce carbon emissions while preserving and improving the capital’s natural assets.
- What is needed to improve the quality, capacity and resilience of London’s utilities.
- How we can future-proof our city in the face of a 2°C+ future.
