Responding to today’s unemployment figures from the Office for National Statistics, Centre for London Chief Executive Nick Bowes said:
“More signs of a flatlining economy aren’t good for London. The city has the joint highest unemployment rate of any part of England.
London is often caricatured as a place full of wealthy people, but many Londoners need help to find the right work for them.
The government should support City Hall and local councils to make a difference on skills education and job finding.”
