London has developed as an epicentre for the coronavirus. Around half the UK deaths have been in the capital and London’s population, economy and infrastructure are all in some ways particularly vulnerable to coronavirus.
Against this context, Centre for London is organising two special Partner Forum events on London and the virus.
The second event will look beyond the end of the pandemic and begin to explore its likely long term effects and the best routes to a successful recovery.
What will the economic, social and environmental legacy of the coronavirus be for London? What are the priorities once the virus is over? How can we build a more resilient city? What are the opportunities presented by the virus and how can we make the most of them?
Including featured speakers
Michael Liebreich, CEO, Liebreich Associates
Jeremy Skinner, Assistant Director – Strategy, Intelligence and Analysis, Greater London Authority
Jasmine Whitbread, Chief Executive, London First
