Centre for London have responded to the Greater London Authority’s proposal to pedestrianise Oxford Street.
Since 2018, Centre for London have been advocating for the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street.
Now, with plans underway, we’ve responded to the Greater London Authority consultation – outlining the value of regenerating London’s most popular shopping destination, and proposing solutions to some of the concerns regarding transport, safety and street clutter.
