Asad Rehman, Chief Executive, Friends of the Earth
Asad previously worked at Friends of the Earth for 11 years and in 2025 returned as Chief Executive. He has nearly 4 decades of experience in campaigning for environmental, social and racial justice, with a deep understanding of how these struggles are inextricably linked.
Asad joined Centre for London’s London Conference 2025 as the Chair of the Ecosystem panel discussion, which offered a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability experts to address how London can remain a green and biodiverse city while delivering urgently needed homes and green growth.

Paul Williams, Founder & CEO, Center for Public Enterprise (New York City)
Paul Williams is the founder and executive director of the Center for Public Enterprise, a think tank focused on broadening the public sector’s capacity to deliver economic development. He formerly worked for the Chicago Department of Housing, and for think tanks including the Economic Opportunity Institute and the Jain Family Institute.
Paul was also appointed to Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s housing transition committee in November 2025. He served alongside other pro-housing policy representatives, religious leaders, and union representatives to shape the affordability and housing agenda for New York City.
