Anna Taylor is Director of CPRE London – campaigning for green spaces that are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency.
Anna is an enthusiastic nature watcher and interested in the potential for growing the tree canopy in cities to support urban cooling and the value of green spaces for storing carbon while at the same time improving air quality. She is also passionate about the value of green space for mental well-being and community cohesion.
As well as holding senior strategic roles in other charities Anna has run a community gardening group planting up local grot spots and currently volunteers with an art for well-being group based in Crystal Palace Park, where the value of being outdoors and drinking in the beauty of nature is very much part of the ethos.
