At Centre for London, our role is to bring evidence and perspective, to promote cross-sector partnership and to keep long-term issues on the city’s agenda even when the political and fiscal winds are against it.
Our strategy runs from 2025-2030. Our vision for London in 2030 is as an ascendant global city.
This vision will guide our work for the next five years, ensuring we focus on what matters most for London and Londoners.
Our strategy has three interconnected pillars:
- Developing London: working to create a prosperous and thriving city, with more Londoners achieving a decent standard of living and participating fully in city life.
- Governing London: supporting a capital in service to the UK and a competitive global city, with exemplar public services and world-class governance.
- Decarbonising London: positioning the capital as a global leader in urban decarbonisation, fast approaching net positive on carbon and nature.
We’re an independent, non-partisan organisation – and our purpose is to make London a fairer, more prosperous, more sustainable city. In recent years, our research has shaped thinking on everything from housing and devolution to inclusive growth and air quality.
We believe that for London to succeed, it needs independent, robust long term and ambitious policy development. That’s what we offer at Centre for London. A cutting edge research team, a network and impact across London, and an ambition to promote partnership.
We are always open to new partners, funders and experts to help deliver this work with us. Please get in touch if you are interested in getting involved.
