Benjamin joined Centre for London in September 2017 as a Senior Researcher. His background is in urban governance, skills and employment policy and urban economics.
He previously worked for New Economy in Manchester, UNESCO, German International Cooperation, as well as in policy consultancy for various national and local government stakeholders and clients. Benjamin developed projects on topics ranging from urban labour markets, poverty alleviation in informal settlement in Cairo, Egypt to research on digitalisation and postindustrial cities.
He holds an MSc in Urban Studies from UCL and studied city planning at Technical University Berlin and political science at Free University Berlin.
