On Tuesday 10th November, Centre for London’s Intermediate Housing Commission will launch its final report.
The Intermediate Housing Commission was set up to investigate what current housing policies do for Londoners on modest incomes and propose an innovative way for to provide housing they can afford.
Drawing on original and existing data analysis, interviewing experts and examining case studies, commissioners developed a consensus justifying intermediate housing and the public subsidy it usually involves. It examines the various approaches to build intermediate housing, and what can improve the provision of housing for the middle-income households who will soon be priced out of all London boroughs.
