Private Roundtable

Cities, divides and devolution – a roundtable with The Northern Powerhouse Partnership

This event has already taken place.

Devolution is at a critical juncture. The new Prime Minister has the opportunity to fulfil the original vision of devolution, especially as powers are returned from Brussels post-Brexit.

Bringing together city leaders, ministers, MPs and local government experts, this roundtable will explore how English cities and regions are evolving and discuss how the devolution of power could play a vital role in addressing the UK’s regional imbalances, both economically and politically.

The roundtable will be co-chaired by Henri Murison, Director, Northern Powerhouse Partnership and Richard Brown, Research Director, Centre for London.

Speakers include:

  • James Palmer, Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
  • Cllr Abi Brown, Leader, Stoke-on-Trent City Council

This is an invite-only event taking place on the fringes of the Conservative Party Conference. If you are interested in attending please contact Joanna Corfield.
